PADI Discover Scuba Diving - An experience session that is unique in that it incorporates an actual Open Water Dive here at Capernwray. Takes one day to complete and is available during the summer months only. Ideal as a taster and to make sure that diving is for you! If a Discover Scuba Diving experience is completed with us here at Capernwray we will credit £40 towards your continuing education as a diver!

Experience includes a brief knowledge development and confined water session, followed by an open water dive in Capernwray. Included in the course fee is use of all gear, air fills, dive site entry fees and registration with PADI after completion. Also included is a certificate of completion

PADI Scuba Diver – As a qualified Scuba Diver you can make dives with an Instructor or Divemaster to a depth of 12m. It is a full diving qualification and is ideal for the holiday diver or those without the time to complete their Open Water qualification. Incorporates Drysuit training-crucial for comfortable UK diving.

Course includes personal Open Water crewpack (containing manual, logbook and dive tables), DVD, all knowledge development, confined water and open water dives as per course requirements, drysuit orientation, gear hire, air fills, pool/site entry fees and PADI certification charges

PADI Open Water Diver -The most sought-after diving qualification in the world! Will allow you to dive with another qualified diver practically anywhere in the world. This is the course in which all the fundamental skills of diving are taught-so it is best that it is as through as possible! As above, Drysuit training is included at no extra charge.

We can also incorporate an Enriched Air dive and a Digital Underwater Photography dive into this course. These can then count towards their respective Speciality diver courses, an ideal way of starting your path towards Master Scuba Diver!

National Geographic Diver program - the premier international entry level diving qualification, and is collaboration between the National Geographic Society and PADI. The course is based on the Open Water Diver qualification but it has two additional dives. These involve enhanced buoyancy control exercises, a navigation exercise, and a dive site mapping/video exercise. Ideal for those who want to take their training and abilities that little bit further! Some of these exercises can count towards your Advanced Open Water Course, and the price makes these additional dives very competitive.

Course includes all PADI Open Water Diver materials as above, National Geographic Divers Almanac and DVD, all knowledge development, confined water and open water dives (6) as per course requirements, drysuit orientation, gear hire, air fills, pool/site entry fees and PADI certification charges

Referrals and Upgrades: With the PADI system, you can complete training in various locations, to suit time constraints or preference. We offer the option of completing whichever part(s) of the above courses that you require. You can also upgrade from Scuba Diver to Open Water.
